Frog Hair™ Tapered Leaders are the world’s first knotless tapered leaders available with either supple or stiff butt sections. All anglers have their preference, but only Gamma offers them a choice. Using GAMMA’s exclusive process, the stiffness characteristics of the various sections along the length of the leader are fine-tuned to create leaders offering either a supple or a stiff butt combined with a supple tippet. This revolutionary concept optimizes the performance of the leader to provide the best possible combination of butt and tippet properties to accommodate all potential fishing conditions.

- Supple Tip Tapered Leaders have an extra supple butt section to provide a tighter loop and a softer turnover for the most stealthy presentation possible. The ultra supple tippet offers superior knot strength, incredible toughness, and built-in shock resistance with the most natural, drag-free presentation of any tapered leader.
 
Frog Hair Stiff Butt
- Supple Tip Tapered Leaders have a heavier, stiffer butt section when a more powerful turnover is needed to punch through the wind or when fishing in large water with heavy flies. The ultra supple tippet offers the same superior knot strength, incredible toughness, and built-in shock resistance to deliver a natural, drag-free presentation.
